Cosmetic Services

We offer a range of skin care products that are uniquely designed and developed for dermatologists and their patient's treatments.

Decide What is Right for You

Since it is often difficult for people to determine the validity of claims made about topical products and to decide among the overwhelming number of anti-aging procedures, how do people know what’s right for them?

Dermatologists are trained in the health, function and disease state of the skin and people could save time, money and confusion by seeking the advice of a dermatologist rather than guessing about what might work for them. We are dedicated to bringing you the best resources on the cosmetic procedures you are looking for.

Let us help you decide – cosmetic consultations are available for anyone who is uncertain about their treatment options, or would simply like a confirmation or another opinion on the decision they’ve made. All of our doctors here at Orange Dermatology and Laser Center are highly trained in our skincare technologies and procedures and can give you expert advice on which treatment options will give you the most effective and long-lasting results.

Treatment Options

Here is a short list of the many cosmetic services we provide:

BOTOX®

Botox® is the only FDA approved treatment for the temporary reduction of frown lines. Botox® works by blocking nerve impulses in the glabellar crunch line, forehead and crow’s feet. With less movement, the skin smoothes out and frown lines begin to fade. Results can be seen within days and last up to four months.

Sclerotherapy

Spider veins are those small yet unsightly clusters of red, blue or purple veins that most commonly appear on the thighs, calves and ankles. In this simple procedure, veins are injected with a saline solution, which causes them to collapse and fade from view. The vessels fade and after multiple treatments can last up to a couple years.

Chemical Peels

A chemical peel uses a chemical solution to smooth and rejuvenate the skin by removing its damaged outer layers. It is helpful for those individuals with facial blemishes, wrinkles, uneven skin pigmentation and can also repair sun damaged skin with the elimination of pre-cancerous skin lesions. The peels are done in the office and can take 15 minutes to 1 1/2 hours.

Trichloracetic Acid (TCA)

The Trichloracetic Acid (TCA) treatment is considered one of the gold standards for treatment of various skin conditions. TCA treatments can be used in varying concentrations from as low as 10% to as high as 50%—the higher the concentration, the deeper the peel. TCA is a deeper peel than most of the superficial peels that cause your skin to lightly flake. Because it is a deeper treatment, your "downtime" will be approximately one week.

Jessner’s Peel

A Jessner’s Peel is a medium-depth peel and is excellent for all skin types. The Jessner’s peel is very beneficial for patients with acne, oily or thicker skin because it tends to decrease oil production and open clogged sebaceous follicles.

Beta Lift

The Beta Lift is an innovative formula of beta hydroxy acid that lifts dead, dull skin cells off the surface. Fine lines and wrinkles become less apparent. Skin tones are evened and your skin will immediately look and feel smoother.

Photofacial (IPL-Intense Pulse Light)

This treatment combines Intense Pulse Light (IPL) and radio frequency waves to treat a variety of cosmetic skin problems such as flushing, broken capillaries, melasma and sun damage . Fees are based on cosmetic units. The neck is a half-unit, and the chest, face, décolletage, hands, and forearms are each one unit. Two checks are required at time of payment: one to Image Laser and one to your treating physician.

Cosmetic Laser Treatments

In recent years, lasers have shed their science fictional image to become a dermatologist's most promising weapon in the fight against aging skin. Lasers have revolutionized treatments for facial capillaries, brown spots, scars and wrinkles. Additionally, lasers have simplified our lives with hair and tattoo removal. Ask your doctor which laser would be best for you.
